The training course 'Social me let’s be online’ took place in Strelcha, Bulgaria from 27th March til 4th of April 2015.
This project was for 39 participants from 14 different countries: Bulgaria, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Greece, Slovakia, Serbia, Armenia, Italy and France.
For 7 days participants were trained from 4 main areas: digital marketing, online advertising, project management and the power of social media for employability. During that time with the knowledge and skills participants got from trainers they were performing projects for the local community for example designing Facebook page about Strelcha or translating menu to English from the hotel’s restaurant they were staying.
The methods applied during the training were based on non formal approach: debates, simulation games, role play, small group work, working in pairs, finding parallel between theory and practice, presentations, associations.
During the training SEN representatives had opportunity to present the work of organization.
Participants were spending free time together organizing cultural evenings, movie nights and enjoying the swimming pool with the mineral water from nearby sources.
